Marketing Technical Product Writer
The Freelance Technical Writer creates instructions and support materials for medical products in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities / Skills
- Intuitive problem solver–strong ability to figure out ‘how it works’ and communicate efficiently and effectively.
- Create easy-to-understand product instructions, quick start guides, and support materials for various health and wellness products.
- Ensure adherence to appropriate regulatory guidelines and requirements with the support of the in-house regulatory department.
- Ability to design instructions using Mac-based page design layout software.
- Work with a graphic designer to develop necessary graphics for manuals.
- Rework instructions to correct errors and update them with required regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- BA or BS in English, communications or a related field
- Minimum professional requirements: 3+ years in a similar role
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite with specific experience in InDesign
- Creative copywriting experience is a plus
Warehouse Associate, Veridian Healthcare
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the movement of inventory/product within the assigned distribution center.
Key Responsibilities/Skills
- Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment. Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. Stencil, tag or mark orders as requested
- Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
- Operate forklift in performance of order filling duties when required
- Conduct physical inventories as required
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Unloading of containers as they arrive at the distribution center
- Move product/inventory to the appropriate staging areas for QC and inventory storage
- Pull product from inventory locations based on pick tickets and prepare for shipment in a timely manner
- Update Company systems in accordance with procedures to maintain accurate inventory locations and quantities and shipping status
- Complete all required paperwork/notifications as indicated by work flow
- Proficiency in use of pallet jacks, cherry pickers and forklifts

Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Prior experience in warehouse environment preferred, experience with operating a forklift preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team

- Physical requirements to lift heavy objects, operate heavy equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.) with proper understanding of body mechanics to reduce potential for injury
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Proficiency in use of computers/data entry/scanning and accessing information from the company computer system. Must be able to photocopy, fax and use the postage machine
Physical Requirements
- Able to have long periods of standing and walking throughout the day
- Able to lift of heavy items and choosing appropriate assistance and/or lifting equipment using proper body mechanics (to avoid injury)

Customer Service Associate, Veridian Healthcare
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for interacting with both corporate and end-user customers and to resolve concerns/questions that may arise in the normal course of operations.
Key Responsibilities/Skills
- Ability to work with patience and courtesy
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to enter information into multiple screens while listening to information from customers
- Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas, including but not limited to billing, placing print orders and system troubleshooting
- Able to effectively troubleshoot customer issues over the phone
- Receive document and resolve customer complaints and issues including billing inquires, sales opportunities, etc.
- Accurately enter order information including update of customer accounts, telephone and contact numbers
- Use provided training materials and job tools to quickly and accurately resolve customer issues
- Communicate effectively, responsively and respectfully with customers via phone, email or other communication pathways
- Troubleshoot user issues with Company products through instruction(s) or if unsuccessful, and due to defect, arrange for product replacement
- Develop relationships with corporate representatives and be responsive to inquiries, issues or concerns of the customer

Qualifications

- Customer service orientation; proven track record of positive and effective customer engagement
- Effective and responsive communicator with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly responsive, ethical, and responsible behavior with a professional approach and a desire to be held accountable for results
- Experience with MS Office and CRM applications
